The Seevak Website Competition has existed since 1998, the early days of the Internet and had long outgrown various designs that could not accomodate so many projects and still be easily maintained. So in May 2011, I redesigned the main Seevak Website Competition page using a clear typography based design.

I chose to use give the subnavigationa timeline-like feel to convey the history of the competition. Transitions are subtle and pleasant, enhancing the browsing experience without becoming cumbersome and resource heavy. Effects are achieved using CSS3 and jQuery.
